This can be an embarrassing and trouble causing pop up especially if you are at work.   

    The first step in spyware adware removal is to prevent it from happening in the first place. Don’t download any suspicious programs or allow strange sites to install add ons to your browser. Aside from common sense the removal options are numerous and varied. One step is to constantly clean out your cookies and history as this will delete anything trying to hide itself in your cache.   

    The next step is to install a firewall. A standard firewall will block most common attacks by bad programs and keep your system clean. You can also install programs to fight back and go looking through your computer for anything that may make it through. Remember firewalls aren’t perfect.   

    After you have these programs installed you can immunize your system and run scans weekly to find the little buggers. Getting rid of them can be hard as some do not wish to go. They embed themselves in system files and often the only way to get rid of them is to erase the drive. Although reformatting the drive and reinstalling the os is a little complicated and the average user may have a problem with it.
