Split/Second Puts Fun Into Racing

Split Second is a game that came into stores over the weekend and it is made by a Studio owned no Disney and doesn’t have a mouse in site!! The team that worked on this game was actually the ones that were behind the brilliant Pure game. This game is fantastic and it actually has better takedowns than the main competitor here, Burnout which really is fantastic, I would give it a go!
In the actual game you are starring as a contestant on a big new television show called split/second and you then have to go about racing against other drivers whilst the track is being destroyed by all kinds of crazy things that the drivers can set off. Across the driving games I have played it is safe to say that this one has the best explosions. There is no boosting into people to get them off of the track Burnout style in this one, it is all about causing massive explosions to take out people that are driving against you, think exploding fuel stations and jumbo jets crash landing. There is a lot going on in this game all of the time so just be warned here.
There are a lot of course that will keep gamers happy for a few hours, the single player is huge too. The one negative that I have found to the game is that you either win or simply get taken out very easily. I am of course talking about the AI in the game here. It is one of those games that is hard to hit first and when you do they are always just on your tail.
The real power of this game actually comes from the online play!
In reality you won’t find a plane wrecking thatnew Audi orcar leasing car but you may find yoursatellite navigation to lead you into a fuel explosion, I am of course kidding.
